District Purpose The St. Tammany Parish Development District (District) is a political subdivision of the state created by the Legislature to foster business development through the issuance of bonds and by taking other steps necessary to advance sustainable commerce. The District issued bonds for projects such as Diversified Foods & Seasonings, Inc., Folgers Lacombe Distribution Center, Florida Marine Transporters, Rooms To Go, Wink, Inc. and Champagne Beverage. To date, the District has issued more than $400 million dollars in bonds to businesses in the parish. The St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation acts as the management arm for the District. |

District Commissioners The St. Tammany Parish Development District (District) is governed by a board of commissioners consisting of fifteen members. All members are qualified voters and taxpayers within St. Tammany Parish. |
