STEDF Purpose
The St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation (STEDF), a non-profit corporation and politically unaffiliated, is recognized as the lead economic development organization for St. Tammany Parish. Our organization is charged with retaining and attracting business and employment opportunities. STEDF seeks to improve the quality of life in the parish by strengthening and supporting the business climate in the region. STEDF has a multi-million dollar impact on our community ever year. Half of STEDF's funding comes from a percentage of the hotel/motel tax. The remainder comes from businesses, local governments, and individual investors who believe in our mission and who benefit from our success. |

STEDF Board of Directors
The St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation Board of Directors is composed of fifteen members. Nine members are appointed by the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation and the remaining six members are STEDF investors appointed by our Investor Council. All directors serve three-year terms.
